Meetings are open to the public.
Anyone interested in any aspect of bicycling or walking in Watertown is encouraged to come and participate in one of our monthly meetings.

- Planning local bicycle and pedestrian paths
- School Street to Grove Street
- Grove Street to Fresh Pond
- School Street West
- Advocating for bicycle accommodations on roadway and new developments
- Implementing the recently-approved bicycle master plan
- Sponsoring bicycle rides, education, and other events
Mission
The Watertown Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee works to improve the bicycling and pedestrian alternatives within the Town for commuting and recreation. Officially commissioned by the Town in 1995, the Committee is composed of volunteer residents appointed by the Town Manager.
