On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

Description

There are two playground staff members at each of the above locations from late June to mid-August. The summer park staff members are available from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and again from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on weekdays.

The children go to these playgrounds to play games and sports and participate in an occasional field trip as well as organized arts and crafts periods.
