On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

About the Events
This office orders group rate tickets to many shows and events listed below ie "Disney On Ice", "Ringling Bros. & Barnum Bailey Circus", "Harlem Globetrotters", "Big Apple Circus" to name some. The Recreation Department also runs a July Fourth Baseball All-Star Event with games, contests, barbeque, and prizes at O’Connell Field at Hosmer School.
