On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

Tuberculosis (TB) Screening - Mantoux test
About the Tuberculosis Screening Service
We screen high-risk populations or contacts of tuberculosis (TB), monitor cases of TB, and ensure proper treatment is received. This service is available by appointment only.

High risk populations include those:
  • With recent close contact with someone with infectious TB disease
  • Not born in the US, or who have lived in or traveled a month or more in a TB endemic country
  • With fibrotic abnormalities or chest x-ray consistent with old TB
  • With HIV infection or HIV risk factors
  • With a substance abuse problem
  • Who are residents / employees of a high-risk congregate setting
  • With medical conditions associated with increased risk of progressing to TB disease if infected
