On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

Children's Events including Birthday Parties
Children's Parties
Children's events are scheduled during public skating sessions. Groups will be provided a private dressing room and will skate with the general public.  Please view the calendar on the website for times. The cost is $5.00 for an adult admission and $3.00 for a youth admission and skate rentals are $5.00 per pair.

Groups can also book private functions based on availability of ice schedules.  Please contact the Director, Dan Brothers to schedule your next private event.


Skate Rentals
Skate rentals will be an additional cost to the renter at $5.00 per pair. For sizing purposes, please consider the size of the individual's sneakers. The arena suggests you incorporate in your invitation the size and style of boot for skate rental for each of your guests. Please contact two days in advance of your event the sizes and skate style to Dan Brothers at or 617-972-6469 to ensure the skates are reserved for your event.

Food and Beverage Options
Food and beverages may be catered or supplied by the renter.
Alcohol beverages are prohibited at the facility.

The Concession Stand may provide the food and beverage for your event, please contact Sonny at 781-603-9048 or .

Responsibilies and Expectations
A parent or guardian must be present on-site during the event. The renter is responsible for all set-up and clean-up within his party area. The rink allows thirty minutes before your event to set-up and thirty minutes after the event to clean-up.

The rink staff provides a medical kit in the chance of an injury, two rectangular tables and a trash barrel.  A locker room can be available for your event.
