CANCELLED: Specialty Weekend Walk led by Watertown's Stormwater Advisory Committee

Saturday, October 27, 2018

EVENT POSTPONED UNTIL SPRING 2019, due to weather.

Come take a walk with the Stormwater Advisory Committee to explore some of the Green Infrastructure stormwater management improvements along the Arsenal Street Corridor.

A wealth of friends and neighbors of the Charles River have fought to improve its water quality for decades, from its lowest grade of “D” in 1995 to its “A-“ in 2017. Since stormwater is one of the River’s most substantial sources of pollution, it follows that Watertown, as good stewards of this popular natural resource, should make every effort to minimize runoff to the River and maximize opportunities for keeping stormwater where it falls.

Note: The walk will not take place if it is raining heavily.
